photo contest "Take a look !" for the European Youth Day

With the photo contest "take a look !", sponsored by Epson Deutschland, one of the first events of the European Youth-Day 2009 has started. In collaboration with Epson, EJT 2009 Düsseldorf gGmbH is looking for hobby photo enthusiasts under the EYD participants. Put your ideas and your creativity into a snap shot and win fantastic prizes.

All entries will be sorted by a jury of the company Epson Deutschland. The European Youthday Photo 2009 will be awarded a prize, as will the best photo of a theme of the following categories:

1. Christ my Future

2. Youth, Nature and Environment

3. Youth and handicapped People (Youth, Handicap, Integration)

Every participant may send one photo only for each category (thus a maximum of three photos).

The challenge

Think out of the box and show us something interesting. Give a statement fitting to the headlines that will surprise us and make us think. While doing so, the quality and the aesthetics of the photo should not be compromised.

The themes of the three categories will surely challenge and their wording is intentionally so formulated. We look forward with excitement to see what photos we will be able to present our youth for the theme "Christ my Future". It certainly won't be easy. So keep your eyes open. Maybe you will find the right motive already tomorrow.

Do you think you’ll be able to put Youth, Nature and Environment together into one photo? Then get up from your couch! Because from that angle you surely won’t find anything suitable.

You already have an idea to show that a handicap doesn’t build barriers either in the head nor in the daily life? Be creative, give it a shot and 'hand it over'!

The prizes will be awarded on the European Youth Day 2009. The best photos of the categories will be displayed in the halls of the premises of the event and will be awarded with non-cash prizes by Epson Deutschland.
